Place a large pot of water on top of the stove at medium-high heat. Bring to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Add minced garlic and saute for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
Pour in heavy whipping cream and cook for two minutes. Once the mixture is steaming, turn the heat to low, stir gently, and slowly sprinkle in Parmesan cheese. Continue stirring with a whisk or spoon until the cheese has fully melted.
Add ¼ tsp of salt, adjust according to taste. Toss pasta in sauce and serve warm. Top with grated parmesan and black pepper.
