I love this grain. The bread I made was about 30% Emmer grain. The crumb and crust was eerything I want in a bread. The flavor was outstanding! I have made bread for 50 years and this is now my personal favorite.

As with all the grain I have received from Ancient Grains, these are excellent. They are clean, extremely healthy looking and are easy to grind and use. I have used them to make sourdough bread and it is tangy and delicious. I have purchased grains from several places, Ancient Grains is my new favorite supplier and I plan to make them my exclusive supplier. Thank you so much! The loaf below is a 75% Emmer berries, 25% hard white and is proofing and growing wonderfully. The last loaf I made was 100% Emmer berries and it had excellent flavor.

Emmer is a favorite for sourdough with its light crispy flavor. I have yet to use it in waffles but I have an idea that it will provide a flavorful more crispy texture than say a hard red wheat

Nice clean grain, very beautiful color. So far I only made "cream of wheat" with this grain, but it was absolutely delicious! Next on the list is adding some to my sourdough bread, and boiling the berries whole for soups and salads.

So far the only thing I have baked is bread. I used a 40% Emmer and 60% hard white wheat. The loaf turned out beautiful. And we love the taste. As you can see this loaf is almost gone, and it’s time to make another one!!!

Flocked/rolled in granola/muesli/hot cereal mix. Worked great and will likely be a repeat customer. I like the medium size options! Thanks!

A very flavorful grain. Im new to milling and sifting grain so I started a little conservative with 25% into my existing recipe, it was a game changer. So delicious I definitely recommend.

  1. Great product! Highly recommended.

  2. I don’t have a mill, so I am experimenting with cooking whole gains. These I have used one time so far, making a pilaf type dish. I toasted the grain in the oil before adding liquid per the recipe I was getting inspiration from, and it remained quite chewy. You don’t need large servings – it’s very filling. The next time I’ll just boil the grain, though, and see if it is a little softer.

  3. My order was received exactly as I had imagined…high quality berries, strong packaging, and timely delivery. I’m loving my new products!

  4. Haven’t used it yet, but will soon

  5. Great grains to bake with. I love the clean grains provided by Grand Teton. I’ve never found sand or rocks, or other contaminants in my wheat berries purchased from Grand Teton. And, their communication when a product may be delayed. Stress-free relationship.
