Description

Discover the pure, ancient power of Organic Durum Wheat Berries from Grand Teton Ancient Grains. Certified 100% USDA Organic, OU Kosher, and  tested glyphosate free. Grown by our trusted friend and farmer who runs his organic farm with cattle and grows some of the best durum we know of.

Durum wheat is prized worldwide for its high protein content and strong gluten structure — the gold standard for making premium pasta and a wide variety of filled and unfilled dumplings. When you mill these berries fresh, you get true semolina flour with superior texture, golden color, and nutty flavor that store-bought flour simply cannot match.

From classic Italian specialties to beloved dishes across cultures, our Organic Durum Wheat Berries empower you to create restaurant-quality results at home.

Perfect for milling into semolina for:

  • Traditional Italian pasta (spaghetti, penne, orecchiette, and more)
  • Handmade gnocchi
  • Ravioli and tortellini
  • Korean mandu
  • Chinese jiaozi (potstickers)
  • Polish pierogi
  • Latin American empanadas
  • Indian samosas

Each brown kraft paper bag is filled with clean, hulless durum berries that are easy to mill at home with a grain mill or high-powered blender. Because they are whole grains, they retain all their natural nutrition and can also be cooked whole for hearty salads, pilafs, or soups.

Certified 100% Organic • Non-GMO • Glyphosate Residue Free • OU Kosher

I just bought a Vevor grain grinder to go with the stuff I bought from you folks, but unfortunately my yeast was dead and did not rise! The flavor profile was great though. I gave 4 cups of flour to a friend who is an expert baker and he was amazed at the fragrant aroma and I ground the wheat berries!

Is durum wheat an ancient grain? Esther Hoyt asked on July 23, 2026

Yes, Durum is a 28 chromosome wheat which makes it primitive compared with modern wheat. That said, Durum is grown worldwide today making it the most popular or one of the most popular ancient grains.
