I love the fact that my berries were delivered quickly. I made Einkorn honey banana bread as soon as I received my order! I will definitely be ordering more from Grand Teton Ancient Grains!!

So my husband got diagnosed with Lymphoma a few years back. And instead of doing the typical chemo & radiation, we decided to go crazy and just change our diet 100%. So.. We went back to basics. Our first step was to learn to bake our own bread. Getting away from the sugar and other "stuff" that they put in the bread. So here we are. EINKORN Bread. Easy. No knead recipe, which is perfect for me! Then we learned that milling the flour just before we use it makes for a much healthier outcome. The packaged flour in the store has been sitting for months. Nutrients are gone. So... we bought a flour mill and started ordering Einkorn Wheat Berries from Grand Teton. Who would have thought that I, a city girl, would be milling my own flour and baking my own bread. But here I am, killing it! Couldn't be happier! Now we are into learning about other grains and making splet pancakes. Spelt Tortillas. And my husband is learning to make biscuits with soft white wheat. The world just opened up for us! And we are eating healthier than ever.... and it all started with a simple bread recipe.... which I bake on average 3 times per week. And everyone loves it! Pail size is definitely the way to go for me! Berries keep longer than the flour. I see more pail orders in my future! For those wondering, my husband's Lymphoma is shrinking... it's all about the diet! And a willing spirit.

The order was delivered quickly, but the pails were extremely bent and tire tread marks were visible. (It appears that something had run into the pails and deeply dented them) I reported it and the company has still not replied to my request for some sort of effort to make it right. Very disappointed, especially considering how expensive the product is. I would think they would try to offer some sort of solution.

Terrific pails to keep grains fresh and clean. The high altitude dent released itself after Paul was opened as I was told it would. Arrived in great condition, delivered right where I requested because ancient grains made a clear label for the delivery people to see and read. My sourdough and other breads and baked goods are successful and delicious. Excellent customer service especially. Thank you.

  1. A most excellent and painless experience. We’ve become absolutely sold on einkorn and Ancient Grains and I even recommended it on my woodworking blog. My wife has become a committed einkorn sourdough maven and just made some fantastic einkorn sourdough gingerbread men with our grandsons.

Count us in as loyal customers!

  2. I received my order promptly and in great condition. The wheat is great quality. Great customer service.

  3. Love the einkorn! Haven’t broken into the buckets yet- that’s for long term needs! Will continue to buy sacked grain for immediate use. Absolutely love your farming philosophy-rebuilding the soil. If I wasn’t 70 I’d ask for a job

  4. Perfect delivery order.

  5. Great quality as always!

Our Family And Team at Grand Teton Ancient Grains

Our Mission

Since 2009 our family's been on a bootstrapped quest to restore healthier ancient grains to the American dinner table.

Today, we've grown to employ people throughout our small Idaho community.

Your support means a lot to everyone here at our family farm and mill.

A Different Kind of Gluten

Einkorn is an ancient grain that has a different kind of gluten, a “good gluten,” with a simpler chromosomal thumbprint.

Customers tell us they and their families find Einkorn much easier to digest than industrialized modern wheat.

Different Gluten
Milling Process

Our Fresh Milling Process

To ensure every batch of Einkorn flour meets the highest standards of baking-ready quality and freshness, we developed a unique 8-stage state-of-the-art grain-cleaning gauntlet.

From there, the Einkorn enters our stone mill where fine flour is freshly milled, then sifted to remove most of the bran, ensuring a light, beautiful all-purpose organic flour.

This way, you know our flour is fresh as it gets.

And because it is stone milled, it still contains the all-important Einkorn germ, loaded with healthy vitamins and antioxidants.
